Our meeting next Saturday will be held online. The topic is Uncovering Rievaulx Abbey landscapes and the speaker is Freya Horsfield.

Our speaker will be Katherine Cross, and her topic is A History of Viking Yorkshire in 5 objects.

The presentation will be followed by the Annual General Meeting, so the paperwork will follow in a day or so.

Medieval Section Meeting – Saturday 14th May, at 2.00 pm

Our speaker will be Katherine Cross and her topic is A History of Viking Yorkshire in 5 objects.  This meeting will be followed immediately by our AGM.

Paperwork for the AGM will be received by section members in the next week or so.  If you would like to help out by joining the Committee, you are very welcome – just email Jo.

If you are not yet a section member then remember that it is only £6 if you are a YAHS member and £16 if you are not.

Our June lecture is being postponed to the autumn as the YAHS have chosen the same date and time for their AGM.
